Background - Before entering the real estate
field in 1991, I taught elementary school for fourteen years.
Through teaching, I acquired many skills that have helped to make
successful in real estate. I developed strong organizational,
time management and communication skills that have helped make
me a top Hampton Roads Real Estate Agent!
Service Philosophy - Any successful
sale starts with commitment, experience and integrity. These
traits allow me ease your family through the often difficult
though satisfying experience of buying or selling their home.
Awards - I am most proud of the CENTURY 21 Quality
Service Award that I have obtained each year since 1992. I have
won sales production awards for every year since 1991. This
award is based on the receiving the highest marks possible on
surveys returned to CENTURY 21 International by my customers
and clients. I am also fortunate to work in an office that has
won the CENTURY 21 Quality Service Award every year since 1992.
I have also been a member of the Outstanding Salesmanship Club,
an award based on sales volume from the Virginia Peninsula Association
of REALTORS®. I was also awarded 2002 Virginia Peninsula Realtor of the Year.
Industry Involvement -
I have recently served as President of the Virginia Association
of Realtors for the year 2002.
I have also been active for many years at every level of
the real estate industry including the local (Virginia
Peninsula Association of Realtors - VPAR), state (Virginia
Association
of Realtors - VAR) and National (National Association of
Realtors - NAR) levels
Family - My husband, Bob Burch, is the General Manager of our CENTURY 21 Firm, the Number One Firm in the CENTURY 21 Virginia region. I have two daughters, one who graduated from William & Mary Law School in 1998 and one who graduated from the University of Virginia in 1999. My daughter Kimi Dornan has joined my husband and me at Century 21 and will work to find you the perfect home in Hampton Roads. Having grown up in the area, Kimi has vast knowledge of Newport News real estate and can offer you the best in Hampton Roads real estate services.
When not working, I enjoy walking, Junior League Activities,
and Atlantic Coast Conference events. I am active at

I grew up in Newport News Virginia and have spent most of my life living in the greater Hampton Roads area. After graduating from the University of Virginia, I lived in Arlington and worked in the field of Human Resources.
After moving back to Hampton Roads, I decided to join my family in the real estate business and partnered with my mother Dorothy Burch. My parents have worked in Hampton Roads real estate for a combined total of over 50 years making them very knowledgeable about the industry as a whole and the Hampton Roads/York County areas in particular. I have been a licensed realtor since January 2002. I was awarded the Rookie Award for Century 21 Nachman Realty for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarters of 2002.
My number one focus in any transaction is to provide you with quality real estate service for the Newport News, York County, Poquoson and Williamsburg areas. I work hard to meet the needs of my clients and do this by being accessible and knowledgeable about the current Hampton Roads real estate market. My pledge is to treat you as I would like to be treated.
I am a member of the Virginia Peninsula Association of Realtors, Virginia Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. By being an active member of the Newport News real estate community, I am able to stay informed and keep abreast of the important issues affecting Hampton Roads real estate. In recent years, I have chaired the Social and Technology Committees at the Virginia Peninsula Association of Realtors as well as served on the Housing Affordability, Awards, and Golf Committees. I am also a certified Cartus Mobility Marketing Specialist, Referral Specialist, & Inventory Specialist and USAA Mover’s Advantage Agent. In addition, I am CU Realty referral agent specializing with Bay Port Credit Union clients.
